Bucyrus Little Theatre is committed to aiding in the success and personal growth of its actors on and off the stage. To that end, we are pleased to be able to award this scholarship to at least one graduating senior residing in Crawford County who has actively participated in theatrical productions at Bucyrus Little Theatre and are dedicated to continuing their support and participation in the performing arts after graduation. The student(s) selected to receive the Bucyrus Little Theatre scholarship will receive at least $500.

 

This scholarship program will be funded by donations entrusted to Bucyrus Little Theatre for the purpose of its scholarship program as well as donations generated as the result of regular 50/50 raffles that will run over the course of the season. All proceeds collected as a result of these raffles will be directly earmarked for the scholarship program.

​Applicants will be asked to detail their experience as an actor and volunteer of Bucyrus Little Theatre. They will also be asked to explain what the performing arts and/or their experience at Bucyrus Little Theatre has meant to them and how they intend to continue their support and theater participation after graduation. All applicants will be asked to sit for a short, in-person interview with the scholarship committee.
